Hello everyone! Looking for some guidance :). I applied April 16th in Dallas, Texas under 5 year rule and I haven’t heard anything since April 16th. Is there anyone else in the same boat? Thanks so much and wishing everyone all the best.

There are people that filed before April who are still waiting - and all we can count are the ones who post here on VJ.  We filed April 22nd and are still waiting.

How many people who filed in april are still waotinh for inerview which field office by now 90% should have got inyerview date

Please don't make blanket statements like that that are inaccurate.  First, there are many still waiting for interview who filed in April or before - you can see so just by going to the immigration timelines on the site.  Second, not everyone has the benefit of finding VJ, so there are many people who are waiting that aren't on here.  Third, for someone newer to the immigration process, you are potentially causing panic if they haven't received the interview date because they start to worry about why they haven't when everyone else has - Your statement that 90% should have gotten their date is based on what?
Additionally, please update your own timeline - Where are you in the process?

Avg uscis processing time is 5 months thats including oath as per them 80 percent cases are compketed by then . We allways have few cases that take longer . And yes if its taking longer than usual ppl should know its not panic . Its knowledge . Knowing whats happening and yes by now 90% should have gotten their intweview ltrs who filed in april

Again, blanket statement based on inaccurate facts.  Just by looking at the timelines here on VJ - There are 43 filers from April, and 50% have not gotten an interview letter yet.  That doesn't account for those who never came back and updated their timeline, or those who never created one (such as yourself), or those who never found VJ.  Knowing what's happening is key - and basing answers on what is been presented as the avg USCIS processing time is never accurate, because there is no such thing as an average time - it takes what it takes, and a zillion things can speed it up or slow it down. Presenting a statement as fact can panic those that don't know better or fully understand.

Passed the thing. No oath today tho cause they didn't have my ROC file. The ROC status just changed to case transferred.

She said if the ROC file looks as good as the N400 she doesn't see any problems and will approve everything as soon as she has the file.

I'm just glad the test is done 🥳

Congratulations! How was the interview portion? Ours is a week from today! Did they confirm they do same day oath even though you couldn't participate? I'm sorry you weren't able to do it all in one visit.

Can we stop arguing ? Thisbis neither blanket statement nor genralization . Its exieting infformetion . Lets not get obcessed about it . If its 5 months and ur still waiting depending on FO  . U can assume u fall in the other 20 percent . No matter of arguments change reality so lets stop it here

If you read back through the last posts, you are arguing with yourself - You already replied to me, and I ignored it because you CLEARLY don't get it.  So as for getting obsessed over it, if the shoe fits....
