Interview got denied & received Blue Sheet RE-2, what to do next?

My fiancé in HCM just got denied in his interview and they just gave a vague answers saying we need to supply additional documents for them without saying specifically what. The blue form just said they don't believe we have a real relationship. Does anyone know what do we do next? Do we wait for the HCM Embassy to mail us a list of what document we need?

Thanks for posting.  The form states exactly what they want.  Follow their directions and upload quality evidence that your relationship is bona fide.  Then notify them that you have done so.  If you don't do this within a year, they will deny the visa.  Good luck.

Common for your consulate.   You may need to marry and reapply after you have more time spent together.

what to do next is follow the steps on the form for further proofs needed   or marry and go the spouse visa route

 

The colors of the forms and their respective meaning are as follows: Blue form A blue form indicates that additional supporting documentation is required. Once the applicant submits the necessary documents, a visa officer will review the form and decide whether your visa application is approved or denied.Jun 30, 2023

This RFE is "common" in Vietnam, which is called "Family tree" and it caused by a reason: family's members introduce someone in VN to their son, brother, or sister. The form they asked for is "family tree" worksheet. Look like the OP not doing their homework since they not bring a "family tree" at the interview.

My fiancé and I know each other for 4 years, we talked everyday, we traveled throughout VN and to Thailand. I traveled to VN every year, 2/year. We meet the elders on each side. We provided details Comm.Logs, Pictures, air tickets....we prepared detail evidence after engagement ready to show them during the interview - and they even deny seeing it, just take the copy for taxes 

 

We followed the list of documents the Embassy asked. I checked all the papers the Embassy send and no where they asked for a family tree form - except in this forum? what is a family tree form? why do one needed? and during the interview they didn't asked for it. if I understand previous common correctly, we need family tree form because someone introduce their children to my fiancé?

Yes, it's a "country norm" for K1, and 95% you will be ask for this "Family tree" if you're K1 applicant. The embassy will not tell you about it because it's come from experience of the members from Vietnam's group. Anyway, just fill out the form as much as you can and submit it and wait.

"family tree" was never mentioned anywhere besides after the interview. The family tree doesn't determine if they will approve or not but they will use that information to ask during the 2nd interview. 

 

 

You should DM this person and ask about his/her case—the same situation as you.
