question about the interview-IR5-parents

Hello,

My parents had their interview and got approved (Yay!!!) a week ago.

I remember when I had my interview 10 years ago after the approval, they gave me a sealed envelope that I was supposed to give to the officer at the airport. The NVC instruction still says the same thing on the website

However, my parents did not receive the envelope.

So has the process changed? I am a little confused. Can anybody who had an interview recently help me understand?

Thanks!

Does it say 'IV Docs in CCD' on their visas? If so, that means it's been sent electronically.

I didn’t receive a packet either, it was all accessible digitally for CBP.

“It’s been 84 years…”

- Me talking about the progress of my I-751
