Hi everyone,  who else filed for their parents this month March 24? I filed online for my parents and would like to communicate with others who did the same. Cheers.

I filed for my father March 2024 and status is "case is being actively reviewed by uscis" are yours the same or approved already?

It just says "case is actively being reviewed ". Nothing else has changed on the case. I saw the eprogress went from 2months to 4 months for my Dad's case and 7 months for my mom's. Although I submitted the application the same day, they were sent to two different service centers.

I filled for my parents as a US citizen in February of 2022 and got approved in January 2023. When case is actively reviewed the timing can fluctuate. Sometimes it might show it will take 2 months and next it I’ll show 4 months or even shorter time. But don’t panic it takes about 10-12 months to get approved and then move to NVC. Good luck

I did  apply  after I become Citizen last year in February 2023  It took 12 months for approval. Then it will be sent to nvc. Nvc will help you with the documents to be submitted . When all submitted they will send it the consular office. You still have a long way to go. It's takes a total of 2 years to 3 years.
