how did you get through emma? they gave me such a robotic answers not much help. I am also trying to contact my congressman. i know it says it should be out of normal processing times to talk to congressman but i wanna give it a try @Lisa K @Rmre

It took me ages but I asked which location my application was with. They confirmed Texas. Then asked how long and they said 14.4 months. Also asked if they had everything to make a decision and they said yes. But less than 2 hours later I received the RFE request. Good luck as I know how frustrating this wait is.

I wasn't able to get nothing from Emma. It didn't give any answers. I try to call directly after lunch time, maybe that works.

Following the issuance of a “Request for Evidence” (RFE) letter in this case, a response to the correspondence was received at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on September 9, 2024. According to USCIS records, further examination of your constituent’s case is not yet complete. While the congressional interest regarding this case has been conveyed to the appropriate NSC unit involved in processing, we are unable to determine the date on which the adjudication process will be complete. You may request another update after approximately 30 days. Major case-specific updates are also available through the USCIS “Case Status Online” tool (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do).

It is somewhat helpful I guess for me. Maybe email your congressman too, it might help @Rmre

Hi, thanks dear.

We already did and still didn't get respond. Ours is California and it took them 2 months to contact USCIS for first time after 4_5 times calling them . We sent email to him two days ago and still didn't get any response.

Hope your case move faster 🍀 🙏 and thanks again for sharing information.

Looks like we got skipped over. I knew this would happen. I hate how our government treats its citizens. I'm sure we wouldn't be treated so poorly if we were trying to do this illegally.

They won’t have skipped you, but each case can take different amounts of time depending on various factors. It could be something as simple as you sharing the name with a known terrorist and they just have to confirm you’re not the same person. So your case will have been processed in order but it is maybe just needing a bit more time.

I’m sure you’ll hear soon, good luck.

My name is an extremely white-sounding name and there is no one else by my name currently alive that exists in the world. I've never committed any crime and have never been married before.

There is no reason why my case would take more time than anyone else's.

There are white terrorists as well. 😂

But that was just an example, it could be any number of things. Each case won’t take exactly the same amount of time to the hour when everybody has different backgrounds and details to be checked.

Good luck.

I just don't think this is accurate. If it was, then why would they have approved just about everybody from my dates (and the surrounding dates) over the last few days? Our case is simple. There's no reason for a delay.

I think it's just sitting on someone's desk somewhere and they're taking their sweet time. Something along those lines.

I plan on going to my congressman's office on Monday and I've also started writing up a mandamus. I'll keep everyone here informed on what happens.

I haven’t seen any 7/29 PD approvals so far. Latest date I saw as of Friday was 7/28. Fingers crossed you’ll have an update at the start of this coming week.

There are many 7/29 approvals in the Facebook group and Immigration Timeline here. I've also seen 7/30 and 7/31 approvals.
