There are many 7/29 approvals in the Facebook group and Immigration Timeline here. I've also seen 7/30 and 7/31 approvals.

Oh thank you for the correction. I usually only follow the updates here and Reddit. I’m relieved to hear that because it means they’re getting closer to starting August but certainly understand your frustration. Hoping you get some positive news!

I just don't think this is accurate. If it was, then why would they have approved just about everybody from my dates (and the surrounding dates) over the last few days? Our case is simple. There's no reason for a delay.

I think it's just sitting on someone's desk somewhere and they're taking their sweet time. Something along those lines.

I plan on going to my congressman's office on Monday and I've also started writing up a mandamus. I'll keep everyone here informed on what happens.

I emailed to my congressman too. They have wrote to Nebraska center so lets' see what the result will be. It is ridiculous this USCIS. I am beyong depressed and frustrated.

Following the issuance of a “Request for Evidence” (RFE) letter in this case, a response to the correspondence was received at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on September 9, 2024. According to USCIS records, further examination of your constituent’s case is not yet complete. While the congressional interest regarding this case has been conveyed to the appropriate NSC unit involved in processing, we are unable to determine the date on which the adjudication process will be complete. You may request another update after approximately 30 days. Major case-specific updates are also available through the USCIS “Case Status Online” tool (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do).

Yeah, I don't have much hope for the Congressman. Politicians in the US don't seem to work on behalf of their constituents anymore.

My plan is to self-file a mandamus. If that doesn't work (because I'm still considered within normal processing time), I'll hire a lawyer and have them do a second one once I'm out of normal processing time.

I don't really know what to do in your situation. Do you know the average processing times for RFE? Maybe you could ask Hacking about it on one of his live shows.

Thank you I will ask hacking immigration lawyer. I did not know about that so thank you. RFE varies i guess, some say 1 week and some say 3 months so not sure really and my progress tab shows 5 months which scares me even more. And my RFE was caused by my own lawyer so that is why i am even more mad and frustrated. They forgot to upload I130-A supplemental form which is so so depressing. So i am having to wait with no fault of my own. But good luck on talking to ur congressman and hopefully will help and self-filing mandamus sounds good for now. Atleast that should scare them @Willie_Overall

Contacted my congressman today. I also self-filed a Mandamus at the federal court near me and started the process of having the defendants served.

I'm concerned that I didn't do it right so I'm also in the process of contacting lawyers. I'm considering filing a second mandamus through them.

Very frustrating that I have to spend thousands of dollars on this while illegals get the red carpet treatment at the border.

I didn't use a form. I drew up a court case after doing a lot of research online. Definitely could have messed some things up. The clerks at my district court told me I had to do more things (without officially telling me since they aren't allowed to do that). That's why I'm thinking about hiring a lawyer. This is more complicated than I have time for and I just want to be done with it.

Thank you. I ended completing that one just to be safe but the more I read on the travel.state.gov website, I discovered the I864EZ form is acceptable too as long as the criteria is met.

I didn’t even know about that form, but looking at it makes sense. It omits the pages for additional sponsors which one doesn’t get to fill out if you’re the only sponsor on the I864.  I believe it should be fine

Just submit the I864 form you already filled out to avoid any possible delays.

I’m about to start my DS260 and they need ever address since I was 16. Going to be a challenge after serving 25 years in the military. Oh well at least I’m a step closer. Wishing all those still waiting good luck.
