Hey everyone.  It's been awhile since we have received any updates.  I think we are just waiting for an interview date at HCM.  Our documents were approved by NVC FEB 2023.  The priority date for this F22 case is 14 JUL 2021.

I'm not too sure on how to read the visa priority date bulletin.

Can anyone guesstimate on the wait for an interview?

Thank you.

So the LPR parent sponsored the children, is there a reason why the USC did not?

You do not need to be, the marriage must have taken place before the child was 18.

I made a mistake letting my wife sponsored then : (

How much longer do you think it will take if we wait?  Or should I start the process to sponsor the child?

My guess and not familiar with the local backlog would be 18 to 24 months either way.

You can file the petition if you wish. Child would then be IR2. Might be quicker might be the same amount of time. Best to see if you can find out how many interviews Vietnam do every month.
