update - My brother was not able to get a confirmed medical appointment. They told us he would have to get a letter to expedite. We went to our local councilman in NY, and after several meetings and calls his office wrote a letter requesting to expedite the medical appointment in JA. The letter along with going to the hospital each morning and standing on line for an opportunity turned out well.

He did the medical and about a week later did the interview. The medical results were not ready when he did the interview so we have to wait for follow up interview ....haven't heard anything  3 weeks. Any suggestions or knowledge of next steps after this step

Try calling the medical physician

Good day,

i have an interview coming next week for March 28th. I attended my medical exam. At my exam they informed me that I needed a covid vaccine booster, yet they dont offer that at st andrews. Moreover, I was informed that the current covid vaccine thats in Jamaica is expired and that KSAC says that the expired vaccine is good until October of this year. I am very concern about this because I dont want an expired vaccine to enter my body.

Does anyone have an alternative to this?

My medical report is still at st andrews hospital and cant be sent to the US embassy until the vaccine has been taken.

Hi Alcia, can you please provide some more information on this? Did you end up getting the booster, and if so where did you go?

Were you already previously fully vaccinated with one of the Covid19 vaccines, and if so which one (if you don't mind me asking)?

I'm just a bit perturbed as to when they started mandating boosters and why. Is this now for everyone despite being previously fully vaccinated for it?

Dear everyone else: Has anyone else (in Jamaica) also been asked to take a Covid19 booster this year in order to complete their medical records?

They gave my finace an option to take it in Jamaica or get it overseas say you will get it overseas.

OMG thank you for sharing this …how did it go, like did he just show up to the medical and they just ask him if he took it already yes or no and he just said no and they then asked where he wanted to take it or do we have to bring up that option ? Because sooo many people are saying oh you have to get it before or Andrew’s won’t even send your medical over to the embassy until you get your Covid shots. I’m about to start doing my medical next

So to answer the question we put it in the system that he took a booster but they still said he needed another so he told them he will take it overseas
