Hello, what was the mistake? I'm in the same boat. 

I filed my taxes married filing separately. my spouse is not in the usa and never worked or never had us income. 

I did not include my spouses income (foreign) but i filed as married. 

Did i make my tax wrong?

That is the correct procedure.  You filed correctly.  Spouse's foreign income (not continuing after immigration) should not be entered on an I-864.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The OP whose topic you've  hijacked made the mistake of including his foreign spouse's income that will not continue in the USA, on his I-864.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
