Changing last name at N400 interview, filing for spouse afterwards

Hi, I will be changing my last name during my naturalization interview, after that I will be filing i485 for my spouse. All of the supporting documents (lease, bank statements, travel records etc) will be under my previous last name, not the new one that I will be changing to.

Will this cause any issues? I will have the proof of last name change on my oath document, so I guess they can use that.

Eventually, I will change name on all of documents so I will submit dociments with both last names.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

No problem, especially if your last name will match husband's or vice versa

But we will have different last names, my spouse is keeping his and I will change mine to my maiden last name.

Is this a problem or no?

thank you!!

No problem to change name. If you live separately, don't file taxes jointly or don't share finances - that name change could be linked to other things weakening the case.

We live together, so we filed everything together and have most things under our names

I forgot to ask, what about my marriage certificate, that document shows only my current legal name, it doesn't show the name change (this is my second marriage, I changed my last name first time I got married, that's why the 2nd marriage certificate isn't showing a name change).
