Send I-864 using James Shortcut

Hi Guys,

We send the I864 in regular mail using James Shortcut after my husband called the NVC and they said to him that any day from last week they will be sending the I864 package to him. But until now he still not received the actual documents that coming from NVC.

When he called last friday NVC said that they already received the I864 that he sent. My question is does it matter if we still not received the package (I864) that NVC sent and they already received our reply on it using Jame's Shortcut? or they will not consider the one that we sent?

Please advise us what good thing to do if u have same case with us or f u have knowledge about this issue. :help:

Within 7-10 days rec'd NOA1 by mail (father only)
Aug 20, 2012 - Contacted USCIS for change of address
Mar 18, 2013 - our case was approved by USCIS
Mar 23, 2013 - rec'd NOA2 by mail both parents.
NVC:
Mar 23, 2013 - rec'd by NVC
Apr 05, 2013 - case # assigned for both parents
Apr 10, 2013 - rec'd email from NVC for the AOS fee and DS-3032
Apr 10, 2013 - pay NVC online and emailed the DS-3032
Apr 12, 2013 - showed on the site paid & print cover sheet
Apr 15, 2013 - mailed I-864 packet
Apr 22, 2013 - Rec'd DS-3032 Acceptance Email

May 03, 2013 - showed on site paid & print cover sheet

May 05, 2013 - mail the DS230 Packet

May 08, 2013 - NVC rec'd the DS230 Packet

May 27, 2013 - Case Complete

June 07, 2013 - NVC email for the July interview schedule

Sept 11, 2013 - interview moved from orig. July 10 date (due to mother's culture test); Interview approved but Father got 221(g) NBI with AKA required.

Sept 19, 2013 - sent the Father NBI with AKA tru 2GO

Hi Ness,

If I am understanding your post correctly you:

1. Have not received the hard copy of the I-864 in the mail.

2. Used James's shortcuts and have already sent it in.

3. Called NVC and they stated they have received your I-864 (the one you sent using the shortcuts).

If that is all true, I don't see what the problem is. You sent it, they received it - sounds good to me!

Yes U got it correctly Trailmix, until now we still not received the hard copy of I864 from NVC ..:) Tnx i hope this one will not matter much.

Then another thing i forgot to include it in my previous post. We still not received the IV Bill is this ok that we sent them already the I864? When is the right time to pay the IV Bill if u have already the Bill Notice from NVC? or can we apply Jame's shortcut again here?

It's ok that you already sent the I-864 - there are two separate 'tracks' with the NVC - you might want to have a look at this sheet as it will make it clearer: NVC Flowchart for I-130/CR-1

There is no short cut for the IV fee bill, you have to wait to receive it.
