Hello, I have a friend who has asylum pending, he is planning to renew his family work permit. They are 5, his and his wife and the 3 children. 2 of them they are in the age of 16 and 18 and they planing to work and the other one is a child of 6 years. All them qualified for a work permit the first time because he put all the family inside his asylum application. Now he doesn’t know if he need to fill the renew for the minor, also all them get the benefits because of asylum (the asylum still pending) and of course the first time he submitted all was because the social security number, I know the social security number doesn’t expired. But the things we dont know if he need submit the renew application for his minor, the minor doesn’t plan to work and either something similar he has 6, but he is afraid he will not protect under the “work permit category “ or something happen. So my question is, is necessary to renew or no? And why? Must portal in internet said no but in this question already confused. The last thing he wants is that affects in the future if doesn’t do it or the opposite. Thanks
