Failed to answer Public Charge inadmissibility questions. You indicated that you are not subject to
the public charge ground of inadmissibility under INA 212(a)(4) when answering Part 8., Item
Number 61. on your Form I-485. Therefore, you did not answer Part 8., Item Numbers 62.-68 related
to the public charge ground of inadmissibility. However, you are subject to the public charge ground of
inadmissibility because you are applying for adjustment of status as a(n) spouse of a U.S. citizen.
Please provide your answers to Part 8., Item Numbers 62.-68. on Form I-485 related to the public
charge ground of inadmissibility. Place your initials and the date next to each answer and return your
completed Form I-485 with your response to this notice.

Department of Homeland Security records show that you departed the United States on
NNN. However, you have not provided any evidence of lawful admission or parole
after that date. Submit evidence of a lawful admission or parole into the United States.
A copy (front and back) of Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record; and
Copies of your current passport and previously issued passports, including biographic and
photo pages, current and expired visas, and pages with relevant entry or departure stamps.

*** Topic moved from Bringing family members of US Citizens (consular processing) to AOS work/student/tourist visas as the question is about I-485. If you’re adjusting from another visa (K1) let Mel now and I’ll move it to the appropriate section ***

You have to send the amended page(s), the notice and if you want, a cover letter explaining what you are sending -though it is not necessary-.

Thanks. Send the whole 485 or just the pages? There is supposed to be a signature on it.

Did you travel outside the US with I-485 pending but without AP in hand?

The travel is all with AP, it's taking a long time but it's within the time on the AP.
