Got my wife's I751 submitted now. Luckily. it was before the price increases in April.

So now, we sit and wait.

From what I have been told, she will probably be a US citizen before the actual card arrives

It is certainly possible she may never receive a 10 year Green Card.   I-751s seem to have a very low priority.

Case in point:

After 40 months of waiting for the I-751 to be approved (No RFEs), wife filed N-400.  Four months later, both the I-751 and N-400 were approved in the same interview.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If married to a US citizen, she can apply in a year from now. 3/25/2025

Same here. Mailed to Carol Stream, IL.

They received mine 1 day after the earliest date from the USCIS calculator.

I requested a fee waiver.  I still haven't received anything.

I finally got it! It took exactly 21 days to get the case number for my I-751 with the fee waiver request.

I logged into my online account this morning and found that my case had been added! They still have not sent the text or email notification.

The Receipt Notice is still not available for download.

I-751 Timeline:

03/09/24 - Package Mailed via USPS to Carol Stream, IL

03/11/24 - Package Delivered at Carol Stream, IL

04/01/24 - Case was added to my online account

Too early. It probably takes a week or few until somebody actually opens the packet
