Hard pillows?

I apologize if this seems silly, but my finacee is finally here and I cannot find a very firm/hard pillow like she had in Vietnam.  I have bought 3 different "firm" pillows since her arrival 3 weeks ago and they are all too soft.  Her pillow at home was unbelievably hard in my opinion, and I cannot find anything over here comparable to date.  Anyone else run into this?  I'm thinking some sort of Yoga bolster, etc.

I would go online and see about buying her preferred brand of pillow from a Vietnamese retailer. I buy some South African home goods from a South African online store and some Korean home goods from Korean online stores…

Buy from the home country. Thats what I did 😂 I have similar issue but for “bolster” and not pillow. And turned out I got the wrong one, my friend who sell this kind of thing back home told me to go to craft store and bought filler, I did it, stuff inside and perfecto

I gave up on finding a pillow that suits me and made my own by cutting/folding/rolling up a memory foam mattress pad and stuffing it inside a zippered pillowcase.  It's definitely a lot firmer than "firm" pillows, and you can make it whatever size and firmness you want.  I don't mean cut it up into blocks.  Cut it the width you want it and then fold/roll it into shape.  The zippered case will hold the shape, then you can put it inside a regular pillowcase.

Look for cervical memory foam pillows, there are different shapes but they are a big slab of hard foam in most cases.

What is it made out of? That might be the key to finding it. In Russia I discovered buckwheat pillows (interior is stuffed with buckwheat hulls) and I was able to get them here once I searched that.

We have pillows filled with organic buckwheat hulls, and they are wonderful!
