Just received this denial notice for my I-131 AP. The mentioned I departed US without APD and funny thing is I never left US after filing my case.

Anyone else seen this kind of denial reason before?

Did you, by chance, enter the US via round-trip ticket?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

This is crazy. Of course, who will spend hefty money to appeal this decision? So sad to see this.

No other choice. Sadly, I'll have to spend $800 on appeal.

Since i got my AP card, I left US on 19 August to visit family.

Today i took my phone off flight mode, and got an sms that: We have taken an action on your case. Sign in etc... But there is no change under myUSCIS, and nothing new under documents.

Should I ask Emma, or wait for an update on myUSCIS?

I’m thinking about filing I-131 case again with the evidence that I never left the country. If I don’t apply I'm afraid they might use the same reason to reject in GC case.

I checked with emma agent, since my 485 is filed before April, new 131 case will be free of cost.

I was curious if I-485 got approved and they gave wrong denial notice. I got a denial for i-131 after i-485 approved but I imagine you would have known by now. Definitely think it's worth applying again with proof for reason you say. Especially as it's free.
Make sure you include I-485 NOA1 when you file

That's what I was thinking at first. I even checked with Emma. No actions on I-485 as of now.
