Hello, I am new to this forum and I have a few questions:

- I am in the US and I became a citizen a few months ago, My mom in Beirut and her NVC case is DQ as of March 8th 2024. from what I read here it seems like it might take 6 months for her to get her interview at the consulate in Beirut. My question is can she do the interview in Arabic? she does not speak english, will the embassy provides translators if needed? thanks

U could not sponsor them for them as an LPR

Glad you asked that, I was thinking exactly the same thing! It's possible I guess, if the I-130 was approved in record time - or maybe the OP means the I-130 was approved in March rather than being DQ'ed and is just confusing the two terms?

She can do the interview in Arabic, no problem. Regarding the interview date, you can get one within 30 days but it requires daily login to see if there is any appointment cancellations.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.
