Expired Green Card/ Expired I-90 and left US for parents funeral
My wifes green card expired 1/03/2022. The 2 year Extension I-90 expired 1/03/2024. During the 4 years of the 2 year Green Card and 2 year Extensions she has traveled back to Japan about 8 or 9 times to see her mother.
Her mother died last week and without a thought we booked her flight for the following morning and off she went. She was supposed to return yesterday but due to the fact the Green Card and i-90 expired on 01/03/2024 obviously she is not here with me or I would not be typing
I got the call this morning from Bank of America that USCIS tried to charge my debit card which I filled in the form for them to bill me the $680.00 for the I-751 and the charge was declined by BOA since it was not recognized. ONCE i APPROVED IT OVER THE PHONE boa TOLD ME THEY SHOULD RERUN MY CARD. How do I send a message to USCIS to run it again, or do I need to send a new application with a cashiers check... god knows that will probably get lost by USCIS... the saga never ends. I wish I cou
