The Biden plan would force certain migrant families to remain in Texas — or possibly other border states — by tracking their location through GPS monitoring devices, such as ankle bracelets, according to the three officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. The families would be put through an asylum screening process to determine whether they could stay in the U.S. and proceed with their claims. And who pays for these?  Who guarantees that the illegals won't cut them off like domestic criminals so often do?  Who ensures that illegals who move elsewhere by choice are forcibly rounded up and brought back to Texas?  Sounds like some civil-liberties attorneys would be licking their chops.

So how does this work?  Will there be cages?  Also, if someone fails the initial asylum claim and they are from a country other than Mexico, are they deported to Mexico?  To me, this would be more of an incentive for these folks to want to get to a sanctuary city/state.

Unfortunately, it probably will.  It gets the folks like Adams and Hochul back in line, and then they can dump all the blame on the likes of Abbott.  Too bad the people of AZ choose to elect a failed progressive Leftist as governor.
