Not exactly related to the Southern Border, but still illegal immigration related, and shows the incompetence of DHS.

200,000 Immigration Court Cases Dismissed Because DHS Failed to File Paperwork

Approximately 200,000 deportation cases have been thrown out by Immigration Judges since the start of the Biden administration because the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) hadn’t filed the required Notice to Appear (NTA) with the Court by the time of the scheduled hearing. Without a proper filing, the Court lacks jurisdiction to hear the case and the immigrants, often asylum seekers, lack a way to move their case forward.

These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raise serious concerns. This report brings DHS’s record up to date through February 2024 with the latest available data. It first examines whether the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been improving its performance so far during the current fiscal year. Next, using Court records that had not previously been released, it then traces whether DHS officials issue and file new NTAs for these same individuals to rectify their original filing failures.

National Guardsman Being Trampled By Migrants Glad To Hear We're Not Being Invaded

EL PASO, TX — According to reports, a National Guardsman being trampled by migrants expressed relief to hear the country isn't being invaded.

As he was being stampeded by a horde of rampaging foreign nationals, Private Cody Jones expressed relief when he was notified by a nearby mainstream media journalist that this was not an invasion.

"Oh, that's good.  At least it isn't an invasion — OOOF," he said as one migrant stomped on his face.  [...]

I had supper a couple of weeks ago, with my former brother in law. All around one of the most decent humans on the face of the earth.

Also probably the most influential member of the democratic party in the state of GA. At least in the top 3. He was was head of the state Democrat party for years.

Anyway we touch on politics. He said he is for the right of people to marry who they love. I agreed. He said he is for the right of women to choose. I agreed.

I added I am pretty much a one issue voter. I said illegal immigration.  I told him not so Long ago Bill, Hillary and even Obama spoke out against illegal immigration.  He just looked down and said, we have to do better.

There is no one that can defend or even make sense explaining why what is happening is happening on the Southern border.

I also told him I was sick of the name calling and vitriol turmoil in politics.  We don't talk about issues we talk about people.

I will definitely vote for Trump but his name calling and hurtful remarks turn me off. I do like his polices.

Never forget our Patron Saint of conservative politics, Reagan pardoned illegals.

America Is Going To Be Targeted For A Massive Terrorist Attack … Will You be Ready?

It happened in Israel, and it happened in Moscow, and it's going to happen here in America – again, and exponentially worse.  The jihadis' merciless war against the West – the Muslim fanatics are not so finicky as we are about our distinctions between the Jewish state, Russia, and us, the Great Satan – did not end when the regime media started covering other things.  We may have fled Afghanistan and Libya and largely pulled out of Iraq, but that war is still going on.  It's going to go on until we decisively win it.  But unfortunately, our ruling class refuses to decisively win it.  In fact, our ruling class actively undermines attempts to win it.  And it refuses to prepare for what's coming.  [...]

No link, because this is an eyewitness report.

On Tuesday, I did a day-trip to my favorite border town in Mexico, one frequented by Winter Texans.

The place was very busy with tourists, local shoppers, et al.  Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

One can drive across, or park on the U.S. side and walk about 400 paces into town.  I walked.

On the return as I approached the footbridge, I saw dozens of tents.

These were kind of like pup-tents, multicolored but in the same style, so someone coordinated this.

Inside and around the tents were illegals.  Dozens and dozens of illegals, of all ages.

I saw Hispanics of all sorts, African/Caribbean people, Chinese, and blonde/blue people.

The normally wide walkway was narrowed to a path that enabled just one person to pass.

The tents took a lot of space; illegals had hung their blankets, clothes, etc. on both sides of the railing.

Americans pulling carts with their Mexican purchases got hung up in the junk strewn on the ground.

I had a heavy soft bag and strained myself trying to avoid the obstructions.  :ranting:

At the head of this line, right at the border, was a glum CBP agent.

The gringo ahead of me asked him, "What countries are all these [bleeping] illegals from?"

The agent said, "All over the world."

The gringo said, "F Majorkas, and F Joe Biden!"

I told the agent, "I agree with him [the gringo], and November can't come soon enough."

The agent nodded.

Inside the port, other CBP agents were checking passports.

I said, "Don't tell me that all those [censored] illegals are going to get in?!"

She said, "They're waiting for appointments, and if they have credible reasons, they'll get in."

I said something unprintable and added, "God bless you and your colleagues."

She said, "Thank you; we appreciate that whenever we hear it."

This is just a small port.

About 3 years ago, a bunch of Cubans (who had money) were lined up here.

I learned later that they'd been sent to Matamoros (Brownsville) and admitted there.

Bidementia is evil, insane, or both.

NYC Mayor Assures Migrants That If They Run Out Of Prepaid Debit Cards They Can Just Rob Americans Directly

NEW YORK, NY — Along with the announcement of a program that will provide illegal immigrants with pre-loaded credit cards, New York City Mayor Eric Adams assured migrants that if they run out of money on their prepaid debit cards, they can just rob an American citizen in person.

The announcement came as a relief to the tens of thousands of migrants who were concerned about what may happen if they burned through their taxpayer-funded free money [...]

This one could go here, or in the "Biden Tanking" thread, or stand-alone.  Yes, the U.S. media were -- and are -- out to lunch.  And has there ever been a weaker president than Bidementia?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Biden's Boss Tightens the Screws
[...] If President Biden wants his mass migration crisis to recede from public view before the election, López Obrador will slow the flow of migrants—for the ripe price of a $20 billion down payment.  This cash would be sent under the paper-thin cover of the debunked "root causes" theory of mass migration, which proposes that money from the destination country can rebuild countries generating outmigration so that their citizens want to stay.
And if the U.S. incumbent doesn't pay the requested $20 billion a year for root causes—"then what?" asked interviewer Sharyn Alfonsi.
"The flow of migrants…will continue," the president responded simply with a smile worthy of a mafia don.  [...]
