Nothing here.  Starting to really worry, now that other NVC cases that got their NOA2s after us are in transit to the same embassy as us.

I tried the nvcinquiry email and that was a mistake.  Got redirected to the inquiry form on the site.

Wondering if they've completely garbled NOA2 dates and all the while they're sending us 60 day notices, are actually functioning off the May date now.

Same here :( When you contact the NVC they say it depends on the embassy, and when you contact the embassy they say it depends on the NVC. I think for my mental health I'm going to take a break from this forum because seeing more recent cases get shipped while I sit around worrying is making the waiting ten times worse.

We have the medical exam scheduled now for next week. We are waiting for the police certificate too. once we get those 2 done, we can then schedule the embassy interview. Really hoping the embassy interview can be scheduled quickly and not have to wait for months.

edit; just looked, the police certificate will take 30 to 90 days 😕

Here we go again...

My fiance and I have both sent NVC "inquiries" this week, mine on Wednesday and his yesterday.  Mine received the standard reply of "we'll send it when we send it", and I don't expect we'll hear anything on his until next week.

And I hope they addend it with that blessed K1-FTP.  Fingers crossed.  We are at fourteen weeks now, At NVC.

Hang in there! We're at 80 days since READY. I emailed about an extension and was told she will be notified. She called the embassy and was told to be patient. NOA2 expires this week so I'll email again about the extension. We're continuing to learn about each other as far as how we deal with documents and being patient in the process, so all is not lost.

Oh my gosh, isn't THAT the truth?  Fiance and I feel like although our marriage will be full of challenges for years to come, this is like trial by fire.  I love him more than I ever did, and especially in such a difficult time.  He is 100% my rock.

Per the NVC Current case creation time frame: As of 17-Jun-24, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-Jun-24.

My notice date 5/22 is that  same as  received from USCIS?

Sent an inquiry last week and got this reply on 6/13

Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition.

Just trying to see if there is anything else i can do. Appreciate any guidance  you can offer.

Typically you have to wait around four weeks, then request a case number from NVC.  You may find more up to date reporting from the MAY NVC TO EMBASSY thread.

Our case took about a month. You're getting really close, so it's likely the NVC will receive your case within a week and you will be able to get further info. Good luck!

My NOA2 expires tomorrow. I haven't heard anything from the embassy yet regarding extending the deadline. Everything I read on other posts here indicates it will be automatically renewed, but I have not heard anything officially. Does anyone know what my next step might be beyond continuing to wait?

After holding my I-129F for over 60 days, NVC sent me a notice that contained the following:

Approved Forms I-129F have a 120-day expiration date from the date of approval by USCIS. Once your designated embassy or consulate resumes normal operations, a consular officer will revalidate your petition for another 120 days. You do not need to take any action for this revalidation to happen, though you may need to provide evidence that you still qualify for the K-1 nonimmigrant visa.
