If your income continued fair enough otherwise just show savings.

Ah okay. Well since no one is allowed to earn money or continue employment in any way, shape or form when entering on a K-1 visa anyway (since that's illegal) I'll definitely be quitting. Then I guess I'll put my savings down on the I-134 since I have enough to last a year due to varying timelines for EAD. I did hear somewhere that if the petitioner is sponsoring with assests only it needs to be around 100k. I didn't know they only look for enough money for 90 days if you self-sponsor as the beneficiary (had no idea you could self sponsor), never heard that anywhere but it's promising for those of us who have no co sponsor opportunity if our fiances get laid off!

One of the many disadvantages of a K1

i assumed they wanted something similar to the I 864 and was wrong

hello there,

I have my interview on 13th March, so I gathered my documents but I am not sure I understand what they mean by 'Affidavit of support I-134- current tax return.'

My boyfriend is filling the I-134.  He also provided a current salary sheet, a warranty deed for the house and a Property tax statement for the year 2023.

Is this necessary or enough? I can't find any explanations.

Thanks

What you listed aren’t the same things as a tax return.

He needs to provide a copy of his most recent tax returns. The IRS transcript is super quick to print out online.

ah! He is seeking for an employer letter confirming his job too, and has provided a monthly salary sheet. However now I wonder what type of tax return I can provide from the UK. I have nothing - I am not working at all as too busy to prepare. so what type of return should I provide?

You do not provide anything, he will know what his are.

Thank you! Just double checking all the info. Sometimes I get confused. For example on the website they say to bring ONE photo to the interview. In the printed appointment letter I received, it say to bring TWO photos. 😂😂😂

I think I took 4, went to a photo booth and that was how many came out.
