Same thing happening to us..

Other friends who applied after us have gotten interviews and went though outh ceremonies....while we just wait. I know every case is unique, but this is unfair.

This is typical USCIS. I've seen this with my I-751.

At least, we're not asylum seekers from 2015 who got forgotten for years, some until now while newer applications got approved.

Your turn will eventually come!

Any Jacksonville, FL, March 2024 filler is still waiting for their Interview to be scheduled.
I applied in March 10th, 2024 still waiting for the interview, I tried this route - asked Senator to reach out to USCIS and was told the case in normal processing times

I feel you! I applied April 30th, did my biometrics on May 23rd. Since then nothing. I applied under the 3 years rule… I don’t think it fair that some people have applied after us and already have their interview date/citizenship…

This is typical for USCIS. I think folks waiting from 2016 for asylum are in even worse situation, whereas filers from later years for approved already.

Same here. 270 days and still waiting for interview to be scheduled. Others who applied in July are getting oath ceremonies. This is completely not fair.

Hey all - received my naturalization certificate!

Thank you everyone! It for sure was a marathon! Please DM or message if I could be of any help. Those are awaiting interview, don't lose hope.

I have my Oath Ceremony in 2 weeks. Do I have to study something? Do I have to know the Oath Allegiance by heart? I was approved in my interview but now I’m nervous about this ceremony lol

The Oath Ceremony is easy.  Just stand and hold up your right hand with the rest of the crowd and repeat each line after the officiant.  My wife just finished hers in San Diego and they were allowing guests, picture taking, video and it was a very relaxed and upbeat occasion.
