Hi everybody,

I am a newbie. Sorry if I am freaked out for some silly stuff.

I've got a unique/strange case and it was at California Service Center but now pending at the National Benefits Center(MSC). I didn't see any processing time line for I-130, I-485 at the MSC case search, which makes me worried. Few days ago, I got a mail said, my case is transferred to Lees summit, MO and asking for more info (the most recent year tax return) for I-864. But actually, we mailed my husband's extension form and w-2s of the year 2006 and the last three years' tax return. Not quite sure what else they want. What's more, because of lack of initial info, they gave me a penalty of another 90 days wait for my I-765 after they received all the info. What have I done so wrong??

Here is the story of my case. My husband and I have worked together in China since April 2005 and then I got a B-1 (through the company my husband and I worked for) to US and we got married in Las Vegas in Dec. 2006. After that, we returned to China together and continued to work there. Because of his medical reason, he was found not suitable to work in China anymore at his last trip to US (03/18/07), so I flied to US alone on 05/08/07 on B-1. I sent my I-130 on 05/16/07 and I485, I-131, and I-765, I-864 on 06/26/07 and had my photo and finger print taken on 07/27/07. When we were having our appointment with Portland local Immigration Officer before I filed I-485 package, she told me I was lucky to travel with my B-1 twice without getting caught. My godness, I planed to do everything right but after the marriage, everything seems changed.

Will my case be different from the others'? I read about NOV2(?), and DOS 203(?), but I haven't got any. And I sent my medical exam (I-693) in the I-485 package. Therefore, is there any form I need to file? Or I just wait for the final decision?? Kind of lost right now. I am eager to send my feet down and start my new life with my husband but it seems not easy. :(

Appreciate your time and kindly help.

Interesting one.

You may want to post this to the China/USA board http://candleforlove.com

MSC tends to then send the case to your nearest field office for interview. Look here for processing times,
