The last notification we received was NOA2 in September: "All required applicant documents have been received and approved 12-SEP-2023". Based on timelines in Manila we expected my wife to get an appointment for her interview around mid-January but we still haven't gotten any news. We also do not see any updated timelines from Manila. Does anyone know if there's a delay for that embassy currently and if there's a way we can estimate when her interview will take place?

Thanks!

My wife and I got our documents qualified by NVC August 2024 and we have still now heard from anyone. Before reading about your delay we were thinking that our delay may have been due to us possibly needing a joint sponsor. We do not need one as I clear $3500 a month. However, only $1100 is taxable and we believe this is why we got this message. The $2400 from the VA is tax exempt. However, after reading about your delay we are wondering if it’s just the Manila branch that is so slow to give appointments?  I read somewhere that you me can also make their own appointments? Has anyone done this? We were simply waiting for one to be given to us. If anyone knows please help.
