Who knows?........but I sure hope not........everything seems so arbitrary with the Cairo embassy.......

I try to get information on things and they answer saying to send an email......

Whenever I send emails I get the same response back.....you know.....the one that doodle posted the other day......about the necessary administrative processing.......thing is though.......in my emails I didn't ask about AP....I asked whether or not they received the updated tax papers my husband sent via DHL.......

and then when I called to ask whether or not they received the documents......they said to send them an email.............:wacko::wacko: ..............oh brother........

It's frustrating isn't it???????

All I can tell you is that whenever my husband gets a package the neighbors tell them to call his cell, so they do and eventually they get a hold of him. Hopefully they'll give your husband a call if they can't get to them on the visit.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

(L) Today Wael had a person from the embassy come to his home!! Ask his father and uncle if they knew me...how long I had been there...was our marriage authorized...

I am just so happy to know at least SOMEONE knows we have a case and perhaps now it won't take long for him to have his visa.

Of course I had to laugh as I have my ticket to Egypt in a month  .

I think this is Murphy's Law, but I am truly so excited to know that finally someone has done something. I think I am on cloud 9 and just beaming with so much excitment.:dance: Have a great day everyone!!

Yeah I am happy for you and hope you have u hear some good news soon!!!

I wonder if home visits is the new Cairo thing..........I wonder who'll be next..............

I know that's why I'm worrying about the address. The only reason we haven't changed it is because no one in the new neighborhood really knows them yet and everyone in the old neighborhood does. UGH. I'm just certain things will be lost if we change it but then if someone is going to come checking then obviously they should have the correct addy. Technically he still pays for both appts though so he could have two addys. Could this get anymore confusing??

Are they doing this in other countries? Why all this AP in Egypt? maybe they have found some people married and their parents did not only know but did not approve. Amazing

That's great news. My husband also got a visit from the Cairo embassy yesterday :) He only asked my husband and his family like 10 questions if that and left. Maybe they got the same guy  My husband and his family said that the guy was really super nice. Oh i have to agree with you at least now we know that our case is not getting all dusty from laying on a pile, which is a good feeling isn't it? I hope and pray that ours and other cases get approved so soon. Take care and hope we can stay in touch.
