Hello everyone,

My fiancé and I had our i129f application approved in January 2024 and sent to the embassy already. We have filled out DS160 too.

The case status as of 1 week ago on the CEAC site is set to "ready". However, we have not received an email from the embassy with instructions for booking the appointment. The appointment website explicitly states that our appointment will be cancelled the day of the interview if we book an appointment before receiving that email. Does it matter if we go ahead and schedule the appointment anyway?

Has anyone who has already had an appointment done the same thing?

I would take that for what it says.  It's been only a week.  Maybe you should email the consulate and inquire if you think it's been too long.

without the embassy letter,  u can not schedule the medical exam so its usless to make interview appointment

they say "don't" so don't

if the embassy says to do something "do it"

Turkey is backed up as the embassy is handling some countries that have closed embassies so you need to wait in queue same as others

read the portal for Turkey embassy reports and posts from others going thru that embassy for a better idea of wait times and other info

just hit the word portal above in the blue bar
