My fiancee has interview at the consulate in Paris on April 24th, and we're trying to figure out flight plans for her to come. We've seen some different answers from 7 days to a month to receive the K-1 Visa. I understand it depends on a lot of factors, but we're looking to book a changeable flight on May 11th. Is that soon? Whats the average time to receive the K-1 Visa after the interview?

Everyone has different circumstances - if everything is in order she could have the visa the next day or weeks later if something is missing.

Keep in mind that changeable tickets might not charge you a fee for changing, but you would still be on the hook for fare differences. If that's not of any concern, by all means go ahead and book a ticket, if not waiting until she has the visa in hand is obviously the safe option.
