Hello I am new and came across this website the other day and cannot seem to stop reading every link on it! I just married my husband on July 20!!!!! (Congrats to me) and will not be back in the USA until the end of this week. Now I am making sure that I have the require documents to begin the process of the K-3 visa for my husband to come to me soon. My plan is to file within days of my arrival back home. Thanks to this site, I have read good and bad experiences of the process and want to say thanks. I know that if it takes 200 + days before my DH joins me here it will be painful too. I look forward to continuing to learn from all of your experiences. O wait this is suppose to be an introduction about me, I forgot! I am just happy to find this site!

For me I am 32, grad student working on my doc in science education from Las Vegas. I have two sons from a previous marriage who are 5 and 7. My DH is 28, civil marine officer from Morocco. I meet him on line in Jan. He was a great friend, truly a friend as I was going through some rough times in my life. In May, I introduced him to a friend of mine in hopes that they would develop a long-term relationship; however, this is the time when I realized that I had fallen in love with him. My friend understood this, since she found it hard to talk to him (from text, email, or phone) without him talking about me. By the third time they had communicated, she realized that he too loved me. Therefore, after realizing we were in love with each other, we (me and my boys) went to visit him and his family in Morocco for a week. It was the best week of my life and I cried all the way back home and the month before I went again. Before I left him in June he had asked me to marry, him and I accepted. Now Im winding my time down with him again, and its sad to be leaving him, but I hope its not for long. It was not until last week we had made our minds up as to where we were to live. Yes, funny I know, I say this because we had made plans for me to come back here when Im done with my studies, however I have two years to go and do not want to be apart that long, so we are taking action for him to come to live in the US.

I think this is all about me so far. I look forward to talking more with everyone!

Hope this is not too long!
