i called uscis yesterday to ask something, a woman named Kay talked to me and was shocked that i had a receipt number stating that CSC is incredibly backed up. she said that it is going to take longer these days because of the incredible amount of petitions that came in July.

I was worried about going to the Philippines in October in case i might miss something that comes in the mail. She told me to go because I should not hear anythinguntil at least December <sigh>
