Vancouver vs. Mtl. Embassy

We are applying for a K-3 Visa and (im)patiently waiting for our NOA2

Who get's to go to the Vancouver Embassy? I imagine it's geographical. I live in Ont. a few hours from the Man. border. It's less expensive for me to fly to Van. than Mtl. Would I have a chance at Van. and how would I change it or does all of Ont. go to Mtl?

Also - are there any other fees to pay before the $100. Embassy fee?

Another question (I've been saving them up). On the DS-156 do we fill in # 14 - Natl. Ident. No.? Do they want our SIN number?

If you live in Ontario.. you go to Montreal.. sorry..

Montreal is Ontario east... Vancouver is Manitoba west

You have to pay for the visa $100, medical and any costs associated with the police report..

And Canada does not have a National Identity No.. so you would put NONE for that question.
