Quick question:

As some of you know, we are in an admin loop of a nightmare and we have had a lightbulb moment and wondered what everyone’s thoughts were.

Is it possible if the lockbox entered our address wrong (all speculative based on a NOA1 document returned) that the California office might have the wrong address on file eventhough we have since given USCIS our correct address over the phone and through e-request for returned documents?

I’m thinking perhaps those actions don’t automatically update an incorrect address on their database and the only way to do that is to “update our address” officially?

This would explain why we can receive “copies” of documents from USCIS but the original one (and seemingly now copies direct from California office since we now have 3 document returned statuses in the first three weeks of January) keeps getting returned each time?
