Form I-693

We applied for the AOS after going through the K1 process. My husband had a full medical in March in Naples, Italy. Saturday we received a RFE for the entire I-693 and medical. I have seen previous posts that state that we only need the vaccinations documented from the 3025 to the I-693, but the RFE states that the U.S. Department of State medical forms DS-2053, DS-3024, DS-3025 and DS-3026 are not in their records. I believe those documents were included in the sealed envelope that we gave the customs agent at our POE in Philly. The only document we had a copy of was the DS-3025 which we included in the AOS. Has anyone else had this problem? We were told by the 800 number that we would probably have to have another complete medical because they probably don't have copies of those documents. I would hate to pay for and have my husband go through another medical if we don't need to.

I came on a K-1 visa, at the POE they took my medical envelope, like they were supposed to, but somewhere between JFK, Missouri and CSC they lost it, but my RFE said that I never included it. But obviously I wouldn't of gotten in without it. So I say the LOST it.

Anyways, long story short. I went for an infopass app - nothing came of it. I contacted my congressman - nothing came of it. So, that left me going for a full medical AGAIN, I had some of my copies from the medical done in SA, so they used them and I only had to have the HIV, sphyillis and TB skin test done.

I sent the RFE back about 3 weeks later and a week after that my Green Card was approved.

If you can get your congressman involved and he finds them, then great. But other wise just go for the medical again, yes it's alot of money, but it also saves alot of time.

This is just how my experience was and my personal opinion.
