Could I ask for your advice?
I got a letter mentioning 203g and the cancellation of my application (I had green card and authorization of employment for 2 years).

we never got an email or letter notifying a second interview or any step to apply for whatever is necessary. I did check my cards and they are expired for a month…(never realized, my bad)
what can I do? Where can I go? Is there a form I can file to continue? I heard that after 2 years they will terminate it. It’s so hard to find information or contact uscis. I would really appreciate an advice on what to do after I didn’t reinstated for a year.

thank you so much,

thank you so much,

You will need to give much more info for anyone to really be able to give you worthwhile information.

On what basis did you get a green card

 How

 long was it valid for?

 When did it expire?

How did you get it .. while living overseas our already in the US

If it was on the basis of marriage to USC for less than 2 years, did you apply for Removal conditions

Lots more but let’s start there … then we will know how better to answer and also which forum it is best placed in.

I got married in the us in jan2021, I got the green card before I had my interview.

From Oct 2021 and exp. Date Oct 2023

i really thought I had till 2025, so yesterday my husband got a letter mentioning

Section 203(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act requires that your registration be canceled and any petition approved on your behalf canceled, if you do not apply for your immigrant visa within one year of being advised of visa availability,”

I don’t know if I was supposed to get a letter or notification on applying something or go to another interview. We never got any letter from uscis after the interview that was in 2021.
I don’t really know how to proceed, we will go to uscis but they might not take walks-in.

was I supposed to file an application? go to an interview? what should I do?

thank you so much

Sounds like there were 2 processes going on.  Sounds like there were two I-130s.   Sounds like a prospective visa was canceled...not LPR status (Green card).  This does not affect the Green Card which was issued.

I only got that letter with no steps or asking to file an application?

Go to the top of this page and look for the word Guides, click it and follow the guides for removal of conditions. Your card is expired, this should have been done before the expiry date. You will need to right a letter explaining why you waited so long and hope they accept your package.

Others with more knowledge will come along and help you better. It is good to start reading the guides above now though.

I have never heard of this letter being issued after a Green card.    As @Ontarkie stated, If you never filed for Removal of Conditions (if required), then, that is an issue, too.
