Yesterday one of the children in our GI program (GED program basically) was late to school. They are on attendance contract so this is NOT GOOD. So he comes in and says, "Coach I'm so sorry I was late - I forgot to set my clock for daylight savings time..." Coach says, "Chris, if that were true you would have been here an hour ago..."

Chris, realizing his error, says, "Oh yeah well my mom set the clock, but didn't tell me, so I set it again for DST....The clock got set twice!!"

Coach, without cracking a smile says, "Well Chris if that were true, you would have been two hours early..."

HAHA I almost peed myself laughing.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

01/05/2007 - interview appointment in Santa Ana - APPROVED!!!

01/16/2007 - greencard in mail

01/22/2007 - EAD card in mail (well, thank you very much)

Gheez and not surprised since we have a few kids in our neighborhood that are this bright too. lol

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

They would have been late not early. Think about it. If they didn't change their clock they would show up at say 0700 and the real time would be 0800.

Yeah. So this kid wasn't a dummy. Trust me... I ran the scenario over in my head and the math wasn't working.
