joint sponsor income

Hello! my joint sponsor  only has his 1040 forms from the last 3 years filed by H&R BLOCK , no w2 or transcripts.. he also filed MFJ with his wife and they made 600k together, would it be okay if i just upload his 1040 form and his i864 form.. would we be approved?

no he's not,  he's an IT tech and his wife is a nurse.

Then, they also need to submit proof of current income.

That would fall under assets.  They can list that instead of income.

But they still have to submit a copy of their 2022 taxes.....and you must also....along with an I-864.

If they don't have W2 form, they should submit the Tax Return Transcript from their latest tax return.  I would NOT submit assets instead of income, and in this case, there is no need to add assets anyway.

 

Yes, you'll need to submit evidence of current income in the form of 1 recent pay stub for each.

 

Note, they at least HAD W2 forms if they are employed.  Maybe they've misplaced them.
