Thanks. Interview was very smooth and the officer was very friendly. He started with the civic questions, i got the first 6 right so he stopped there. Then he asked me to read a sentence from the tablet in front of me. The sentence was “how many senators are there”. Then he asked me to write on the tablet “there are one hundred senators”. After that he moved on to the n400 application. Questions he asked me from the application were “whats my ssn” “what is my height” “where is my spouse from” “what is my spouse name”. Then he went on to the yes/no questions from the n400. We then signed at the end. He told me to wait outside as i will he called at the window to get my oath ceremony letter. Oath ceremony letter was issued and will be at the same SA field office.

You applied under 3 year rule or 5 years rule? Was your green card marriage based?

For those who asked about "who signed the banknotes"... Clearly that wasn't the question, I don't remember, but it was one of those 4 or 5 questions where you answer: "The President". 🙂

I think Right question is that who signed the banknotes?

That's not one of the 100 questions which can be asked though

Congrats on your approval. What do you mean they asked me the story of my life? What questions were asked?

Where did you meet your wife / Why did you come here / What's your job / Where were you living before... things like that (things that they already know lol)

At least not "who supplies the banknotes for bills to become laws". That would be an ackward one!

Congrats to all 3 interviewees for getting approved today! 🍾 Only one more step and you'll be done.

@tcolema3USA I added you to the tracker. Let us know once you've taken your oath and you'll get a little flag next to your name 😁

@SFA14 I can add you too but I don't think I have the date you filed.

Sorry I thought I had sent the previous message right after my interview but it was still in the browser. Just got back to Austin.

It's so interesting to see all the different oath ceremonies dates and places everyone is getting from the same Field Office! Mine is on June 21st in the San Antonio courthouse. I thought surely @YellowDuneBuggy and I would have the same one since we applied on the same day and had interviews on the same day but USCIS truly is a random machine lol.

My interview officer was super chatty and talkative and him and my husband just talked about kids and random things while I anxiously sat there lol.

He asked us some marriage questions like "what's your pet peeve about your husband/wife" and something else that I forgot.

I had to read "who lives in the White House?" and write "the president lives in the White House".

I don't remember the questions exactly but I remember:

* What did the first colonists came here for? (Freedom)

* If the president can no longer be president, who's president (VP)

I don't remember the other ones right now but right after the 6 questions (that I got correctly) the officer immediately asked....

* What's president Trump's birthday?

To which I froze and then we all laughed it off bc obviously he was just goofing off.

Good experience overall

My husband helped me remember more questions:

* Which ocean is on the West Coast?

* What are two rights from the declaration of Independence? (Life and liberty)

* What happened at the Constitutional Convention?

The scheduled my oath ceremony for June 21, too, but I've been already invited to a wedding that day, so the scheduled mine for July 1.
