Hello,

I filed online on Feb 22nd, 2024. I am in NYC, filing under 3 year eligibility but after approved vawa case.

Online form seemed very easy and they only asked to add my greencard and my marriage certificate (since I am still married to USC, in divorce process now). That was all they asked to submit. And it felt kind of not right or something, almost got me anxious. I added approved vawa petition just in case.

I did not get a notice about the Biometrics reuse, unfortunately. Is this a warning sign?

No i would not worry about this, several people have to redo biometrics and it is not an indication of anything. If it was approved VAWA you can file under 3 years.

Filed today. Processing time started out at 9 months but it is now at 7. Not really stressing about the processing times anymore, its not like the expired green card and that stupid extension letter we had to carry around 😆

Hello everyone,

I filled out my application on 2/27, received the receipt and also a notification that says that they will not need my biometrics. According to the website the timeline is 5 months.

Good luck everyone!

My status:

My application was filed on 01/30/2022. I had my biometric appointment on 02/20/2024.

The USCIS is reviewing my case as of 02/20/2024.

NYC

My estimated time is now 3 months instead of 4. Nothing has changed in the current status tho, they are still reviewing my case.
