Congratulations! Please, keep us posted . I have been waiting more than 2 weeks already for them to schedule the ceremony … I wonder what’s going on that cause this delay in scheduling Oath ceremonies 🤔

There's not a lot of people in our office I guess. Waiting for a minimum of approved N400 I imagine.

No.

Sometimes certain FOs take a while to schedule Oaths because they need to wait until they reach a certain number of participants to schedule. Could you be in that boat possibly?

Chicago is pretty quick with scheduling oaths, according to this https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=Chicago+IL&op1=6&op2=&op4=1&op5=5%2C10%2C11&cfl=0

I just randomly looked at my USCIS account . My i-751 case still shows but n400 has vanished. Presumably some tech glitch prior to the long weekend. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Probably a glitch because they do updates on the weekend

Thanks for sharing the link. Seems like in Chicago they have a ceremony 1-2 month after the interview.

Sorry for taking forever to post an update.

My wife went into labor at 3am and by the she delivered the baby. I was able to make my oath ceremony scheduled for 8:30am.

Congratulations 🎉 so your baby was born on your citizenship anniversary date? 🎉

No one can know that information. We are not privvy to it.

I submitted 2/16 and I haven’t had an interview scheduled , I called uscis and I was told that they were still doing a back ground check !! It’s going to be 90 days since my biometrics in 5 days and 104 days since submitting my n400 . At this point I don’t know what is considered the normal processing time for n400!
