I only submitted the required evidence with my application, copy of green card and marriage certificate. I was thinking of adding tax transcripts as additional evidence. Should I do the last 5 years, or all transcripts since my ROC? That would be 10 years of transcripts. Thoughts? (I filed under the 5-year rule)

So I submitted my tax transcripts for the past 5 years, I'd recommend doing that you can upload even after submitting the application. I also submitted a copy of my residential lease and Driver's License as proof of residence/address :)

Where are you located? Mine still says 6 months, I'm in SF. Those time estimates don't seem accurate at all though.

I'm in Indiana. Just noting the change that happened which is nice to see.

Mine also changed from 7 months to 4 months. I believe it's because we immediately got the biometrics reuse notice

My husband is planning to file soon.

our question:

We are filing under the 3 year rule. We've been married for almost 4 years ( 4 on 2/23/2024!). He got his green card on 5/12/2021, so we are filing in that early 90 day rule. If we file now, do they take it and look at it now? Or do they wait until his actually 3 year GC anniversary (5/12/2024) to look at it?

Your case will be looked at just the same as anyone else who files, regardless if it's under the 90 early filing or under normal filing. In other words, they will not wait 90 days to start reviewing.

Starting this thread as I submitted my application this morning!

I've been a LPR for 12 years but I was so unexcited about the idea of dealing with the USCIS again that I hadn't filed until now. Then time came to renew my green card and I thought, oh well, I might as well file my N-400 instead. What eventually convinced me is that citizenship applications are apparently processed much faster than I-90s! I'm the anxious kind and traveling around with an expired card and a piece of paper didn't sound great to me. Anyways, the online application was shockingly fast and easy. Now the waiting begins!

You had the exact same thought process as me!  Been here 14 years.  Just finished the process (I was an October filer).  Good luck!

Thank you! Yeah, they are moving really fast with a lot of cases.  So glad I didn't renew my green card and just did citizenship. My 10 year green card was due to expire at the end of October so I was cutting it close anyway.

Fingers crossed for the February filters too.

Ours is now reading 4 months, we know it's just an estimate. NY here. Hubby is holding off on travels until he gets a date. He'll most likely miss his uncle's burial. Patiently waiting 🙏🏿

Sadly the date is inaccurate. Although if you're in NYC they tend to work really fast, most people get an interview within 3 months. Good luck :)
