I am planning to take VOE ( verification of employment) letter as well in lieu of W2s.  It details the start date, designation, salary etc for your current company (for me, I could just simply download from my company portal, just check for you)

Based on below , take couple of passport photos also, if your biometrics were reused.image.thumb.png.12ddf6422a699670dae134f9ac568c7a.png

My husband is taking VOE from his company. Mine is school district job so I am planning to take W2s. Taking passport size photos is a good idea which I haven’t planned to take originally. Thanks again for the useful info.

Also taking the receipts of 2 parking violation tickets(1. parking in front of an entry of another house, 2. parking on left side of the road) for which we already paid few years back, around $45 each. I made these mistakes when I was a new driver and school area is always crowded to find a proper parking. Unfortunately that car is under my husband’s name so he is going to mention that during his interview. We forgot to mention that in the N400 application. Wondering you have any suggestion to bring this up during the interview or not.

bonus cockroach

A man telephoned a pet shop and said, "I'd like to place an order for 25,000 cockroaches."

"What in the world do you want with that many roaches?" asked the clerk.

"Well, I'm moving tomorrow," explained the man, "and my lease says that I must leave the premises in exactly the same condition in which I found them."

If officer asks the yes/no question of citation / arrest , then you can mention it otherwise no need to bring it up.   I downloaded my driving history from California DMV site which I am taking with myself ( I think 2$ or something for immediately download ) which can show what you have on your record or not.

 https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/customer-service/request-vehicle-or-driver-records/online-driver-record-request/

I dont think your husband needs to mention anything if he was not involved in any way. why complicate matter. Others can pitch in.

Just chatted with a live agent on Emma and was told this about my spouse's case:

> You are currently in the queue for an interview to be scheduled. USCIS will mail a notice when the date is scheduled.

I asked them how long it'll take and they gave me a generic timeline estimate via the tool

I read elsewhere that it means background check is complete?

I think that's the standard answer they give everyone. Maybe see if you can call USCIS and ask if the background check has been completed? AFAIK ppl on this thread have had luck with calling and speaking to someone.

Hi everyone, so i need you guys expert advice on this. So my wife's interview is scheduled to July 3rd, but today her doctor scheduled her for a C-Section delivery for our baby on July 1st.

She tried to change the date with her, but she said she can't due to safety reasons. So we don't know what to do with the appointment now, should we ask to reschedule it? even though we know it will take few more months! (and my wife is trying to travel back to her home country with her mother to help with the kids)

OR should we take our chance that the baby might come earlier to that deadline (just like what happened with our 1st baby) ? I'm honestly confused so please forgive me. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks guys

My husband's case is still pending interview (submitted 02/17). I already naturalized last week. We are not marriage-based though.
