Current processing time for NVC to schedule interview in Mumbai

Hello all,

 

My spouse's DQ date is Jan 29th, 2024 and her PD is 17-sep-2010. Visa type : IR1

 

Can you please let me know

 

a) Should I call NVC to check if they file is moved to Mumbai consulate?

b) How long it does take now a days to get interview scheduled in Mumbai consulate? 

c) Will NVC schedule the interview months in advance or interviews get scheduled in short notice period

Certainly not yet if she was only DQ'ed a week ago. It won't be transferred until she's due for an interview, so a while to go yet.

I gave you a link to a relevant thread above - as said on my previous response it seems to be about 5-6 months from DQ to IL so hopefully you'll hear something in the summer.

 

But just asking again, is your PD correct, 13-14 years ago?? Or was that a typo?

It can be delayed indefinitely at the NVC stage if needed.
