Filed AOS on January 19 with USPS to Chicago P.O. Box.

On January 26, we received three text confirmations from USCIS that our case was received (submitted I-485 and I-864 along with I-765 and I-131). The check was cashed the same day.

Checked the case status on USCIS tracker and they have scheduled a biometrics appointment. Have not yet received any letters / physical copies of the appointment notice. It states to request a copy of the notice through their website if we have not received it by February 28.

^^ Follow up:
We received the official letters in the mail the same day I posted this! One of the letters included an online access code too.

Had a quick question just sent everything today. Did each form require passport photos? I sent two attached to the 485 but not for the 765 and 131. Is it going to get kicked back??

Sent 2 passport photos I765, I 485 2 passport photos. I think you will be fine. If they need anything, they will let you know. My husband never sent in i131 since he won’t be traveling soon. Good luck.

Would they take it and send RFE for photos or more like return the whole package to me

Concurrent filing.

- USCIS accepted on 1/22 (delivery date)

- CC charged on 1/24

- Notices received on 1/30 and 1/31 (NOAs and online account letters)

- Biometrics letter received on 2/1 and the appointment is for 2/22

- Went to biometrics early as a walk in due to original date conflict and we got it done (the lady was nice and let us in early)

I-765 shows 2 weeks in my progress (I know it is not accurate but still).

I-485 already shows biometrics done

Both I-765 and I-485 gave immediate updates and show case is being actively reviewed which usually means someone touched the case (in our case it is the biometrics update)

I can’t guarantee, it depends on the person who receives your case, have they cashed the check? If so then they have accepted the case. I don’t think they can send the whole package back for that. Good luck

I don’t know where you heard that. We sent ours to Pheonix, as per the USCIS website. UPS. But ours has disappeared. It was confirmed received in Tempe, at the ‘dock’ by a guy named De Jesus, 2 weeks ago, and then…. Nothing. Check has not been cashed. No text. No email. No returned papers. Nothing. Just POOF. Disappeared. .

Rather frustrating when others that sent theirs the same time to Chicago box already have biometrics scheduled.

If you live in Texas, the Dallas lockbox is the correct destination for an I-485 package (and I-131, I-765, etc).

Am sorry to hear that, try calling uscis or chat with Emma and see if you can get any response. Good luck.

Thanks. I read another thread that talked about calling, but the recommendation is to wait until 30 days to call. So I will give it a couple more weeks before I call.

The K1 wait was agony, but at least we got quick confirmation that they received our application.

BooHoo. Poor poor me. 😂 Trying to keep a sense of humor.

My main concern is i think i didnt send enough passport pictures since i only sent two along the 485 not for 765 or 131.

Dont wanna wait a month just to get it kicked back and waste time. Oh well

We only sent 2 photos, but we really don’t care about the 765 out the 131, even tho we included those. We will deal with RFEs on those if necessary, it’s just the 485 we care about. At least an RFE would mean they accepted the paperwork. Would be better than this ‘nothing’ we have now.
