My case has been going on for 5 years now . I am currently married and have been trying to have my husband here with his family in the United States . I have never had a lawyer throughout this

whole process . We made it through the immigration process and through visa processing . The case was then sent over to his country for a consulate appointment . We had our appointments and then waited for the response . When they finally answered us back they said that my husband was revoked ? I then asked them why ? and there answer was we do not need a reason and that the case was being sent back to the United States and that i needed to get a lawyer to appeal it . I have looked for a month now and i cannot find someone to help me appeal this . Can anyone out there tell who handles this kind of case and who to contact ? I am so upset over this and i do not know what to do .

I bet your husband who attended the interview might have an intuition as to why it's been sent back to USCIS.

Have you guys discussed what transpired at the interview?

What country is this?

Has your husband applied for any US visa before?

Has your husband been married before?

Have you received the NOIR from USCIS?

Step 1:  Determine the reason the visa was denied.  This will be clear once USCIS send the actual NOID letter to you.  Your husband probably knows why.

Step 2: Develop a proper course of action.

Step 3: Write a detailed counter to each item listed....or resolve issue and re-apply.

Good luck.

My husband has never been married before  and he doesn't have children . We asked them together on phone on conference call and what they told us was

there was no reason listed . I asked why he didn't list a reason they said he really doesn't need one it is his  call as to who he lets receive a visa . They never told my husband why and most of the questions they were asking in the interview was about our intimacy and how we do that so far away , I was not understanding why that was a topic of the whole interview but i didn't question it .

They DO need a reason.  That reason will be explained in the letter from USCIS.  Has your husband ever been denied a visa before?

It could take 6 months to receive the letter from USCIS. Can you post a copy of the letter he received (no personal information)?

Not even for a visitor visa?

Sounds like the officer does not believe this is a genuine marriage.  You'll just have to wait for the letter from USCIS.

Aha!!!!  Lagos!!!   Thanks for posting that.  Lagos cases receive a LOT of scrutiny.  This will, likely, be an uphill battle.  USCIS will send you a letter explaining why the visa was denied.  You will have an opportunity to answer the denial.  Once you get the letter, it might be wise to consult a competent attorney.  There are members here who have successfully overcome a denial....but I think a consultation  would be wise.  Good luck.

How do i make him believe it we showed them conversations , pictures , Phone logs  i feel like i don't know what else to give

You have to wait for the letter from USCIS.  You will need to address every concern listed on that letter.

To make any sensible comments we need information, now there are some normal issues which may of course not apply here.

How did you meet

How many times have you visited and for how long

Age difference how much and who is older

Has he ever applied before for any US visa is so what and when.

Has he been married before

Have you been married before

Any children

There is an Immigration Lawyer who has a show on You Tube and deals with a lot of Nigerian cases. He has one this afternoon, call in and explain your situation to him for free.
