Form I-134 support form

So, my fiance and I have a interview date soon in Manila, Philippines and we need to fill out the I-134 form. I have my tax return form, 1040 for this year and my W-2 form of 2023.  My income is 40,000 a year., which says my income is 125% above poverty lines. Is my W-2 and my tax return form, 1040 alone sufficient for evidence with the I-134 form?

Manila does not typically ask for the I-134, but you should still have it ready just in case.

IRS tax transcripts are preferred, instead of tax returns.  You can get them quick, easy, and free from the IRS website.  Send at least 2022 transcript, along with the 2023 W-2.

Most likely it will not even be collected at the interview, but it's possible.  CFO might want to see it too.

The petition validity date should be automatically extended by the consulate.  You probably won't get notification that it has been extended since your case is already in Manila.  The 1 year thing means if you take no action on the available visa before a year is up, then you are out of luck and need to start over.  Do not be concerned about the Feb 23 expiration.  It will be extended.

Does my fiance need to call the embassy to extend the petition?
