What should I do about this? because none of this apply to us? it says

You should provide evidence

If you do not provide evidence, your application processing may be delayed.

Evidence about child support

If you have dependent children who live apart from you, upload documents showing that you support each child and that you have complied with child support obligations. Make sure the text is readable. This may include the following:

  • Images of the court or government order requiring you to provide financial support
  • Canceled checks or money order receipts
  • A court or agency document showing child support payments
  • Evidence of wage garnishments
  • A notarized letter from the parent or guardian who cares for your child(ren)

If it doesn't apply then it does not apply. You have kids from other partners listed?

You've listed way more than what we sent in and we got approved. Although you're sending tax transcripts so no need to also send the full returns and make the amount of documents to look through needlessly longer for the agent to look through.

They don't ask for both the returns and the transcripts though so you're not giving them what they asked for. The instructions say "Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you and your spouse filed for
the past 3 years (or an IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years)."

Uploading all the other types of items you listed is great and more than enough.

The whole process of N-400 for us took about 3 1/2 months

Yes I understand. But for the tax returns I only Included the first page so its not a big deal I guess. mine says estimate of 7 months is that a normal processing time?
