Arriving Before the date indicated in the annotation

Hello,

I got a 1 entry b1/2 visa to visit a 2 month long trainig course in Atlanta, Georgia.

the issue date : 22 September 2023

the expiration date : 30 June 2024

however in the annotation they indicated the exact dates: May 6 to June 28, 2024.

Now my plans changed, the trainig got prephoned and I need to enter the US in April, 1 month before the annotation date starts.

What can i do in this case? I can provide an ifficial letter from the inviting organisation about changes in the plans, but what if it is not enough?

I couldn't find any official information about this topic so far and I am really worried, as I may miss a very big chance...

You will need to email the consulate and lay all this info out .. and request a reissue for the new dates. You must include clear documentation  from  the course provider confirming the date changes

The consulate is the sole approval authority for visas.  They are the only people who can help.

Are you sure about that?  I find it in a 3 seconds Google Search.

You can travel with the visa as issued. Just take the information with the original dates and the updated schedule change information to show it us the same training and the presenters changed the date -- so date change was outside your control.

I have seen same advice several times, that i found promising. But here most adviced contacting the embassy and ask for the changes in visa. I already sent email and waiting for the response.

So, you are telling me that based on experience or any official information?  So it wont be risking to go there in April with excuse letters?

There is never a guarantee of entry into the US. But, in your case, the probability of being admitted is the same whether you travel in April or May. It is highly unlikey the the Embassy will spend the time and resources to reissue a 1-entry visa that is still valid for travel as-is.
