Is this London consulate? Which visa category? Please fill in your timeline.

 

If it’s only changed to approved on 17th January then it’s just too soon to be expecting anything, it’s only been 2 working days (remember Monday was a holiday so consulate was closed).

Previous Stampings: This is 4th H1B stamping with the same role and employer (MNC).
CAEC Status: Shows "Refused," with the case created a couple of days before the interview.
No documents requested after the interview, and passport was returned.
No previous 221gs

 

Jan 15th Received email to submit passport for visa processing. 
Jan 16th Passport delivered to embassy
Jan 17th Morning Status on ceac changed to administrative processing
Jan 17th Evening Status on ceac changed to approved

I have seen lot of people whose status changed from approved to issued the next working day. Since it’s been 2 working days, I am starting to worry. My 2 year old is in the US with my wife. Trying to reunite as soon as possible

OK. I really wouldn’t worry, there’s probably just a bit of a backlog with the 3 day weekend.
