It takes two weeks from the date of the receipt of medical to review and approve. That’s what happened in my case..

Changed to Administrative Processing on CEAC today so that’s some progress. Any ideas if it’ll stay on AP for long?

Shouldn’t stay on administrative processing for long. You should have the visa issued by now

68 days still waiting. It’s beyond frustrating!

68 days isn’t actually that long for AP, it can take months or even years in other countries. It just seems longer for London as most are resolved more quickly.

Are you by any chance from a more high risk country originally, or have links to one (i.e. Pakistan, Iran, Nigeria)?

Please fill in your timeline, thx.

Yes, I’m from Nigeria. But I have lived in the UK for 3 years. What does this mean?

Not sure how to fill the timeline

Ah, that will be it. I’d expect it to be quite a bit longer then.

Your timeline is on your profile, please click on that and then complete it - there aren’t many of us EB applicants around, so we need as much data as we can get. Thanks.

Wow. 70 days isn’t long enough.

Filled the timeline, and will update in due course. My visa is H1B though not EB

Oh sorry, thought it was EB for some reason.

70 days often wouldn’t be anywhere near enough for companies or authorities in a different country to respond, they can take many, many months to get info to the US for background checks. But fingers crossed yours isn’t too long.

Good luck.

Hi. Ours is EB1a. We got the green slip for administrative processing,no additional information requested for so far. It’s just been 12 days but it’s really devastating 🥹

Have you got any links to high risk countries? Please fill in your timeline when you get a moment, to help other EB applicants.

Best of luck to you.

Hey sorry to hear. It’s disheartening just waiting indefinitely in limbo. I think the system is just completely ridiculous. Good luck though. I will update on here if I hear anything
