@Resilient111 Hi, that’s good news. Though, ours moved from “Refused” to “Issued”, everyone's I know that changed from “Refused” to “Administrative Processing” saw “Issued” the next day or two. I think they’re just working on your documents and will issue the visa shortly. Congratulations!

Hello @Moda25 just informing you that my visa got issued on the Friday! Two days after the status was changed to AP as you said. Thank you so much for your guidance. My family and I are so relieved as I have a 22 month old to get home to.

I haven't received the passport yet since it was the weekend so I am hoping that today (Monday) I get some tracking info as I selected collection at Chancery Lane. Do you know if I will get a tracking number or do I just show up at DX?

@Resilient111 awww congratulations to you. That’s some good news. I believe once they send the passport out to the mailing company, they’ll send you an email. I used to check the visa-info site (where you registered for your visa delivery) to see the tracking number. I don’t remember them sending the tracking number to us. However, I believe the mailing company will contact you when it’s ready for pick up.

Hi @Moda25! I wanted to update you that today my status turned to 'Administrative Processing'. Is this a good sign for 'Issued' to come next?

I had a 221g which required no further documents and all that was ticked on the paper was to submit my passport since I could not leave it with the embassy due to impending travel. Now they have asked for my passport and it has turned to AP. Any advice on what I can expect will be helpful. Your case is the closest case in similarity to mine so your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you

Did you get any new updates?

How quickly did you get the visa issued right after the medical?

@M S Khan My husband’s medical was received by the embassy before he was asked to submit his passport. It took a week for the embassy to receive the medical. Once they received the passport, the visa was issued within 4 days.

Hello @Moda25 just wanted to update you that I received my passport with the visa yesterday and I am now at the airport headed to the US 🥹 thank you so much for your help and guidance. I plan to do an entire post about my timelines as this forum has proved very useful for me. DX in London I would not recommend delivery so collection is best. They messed up my address and was delivering my passport to the wrong address and so I had to go to that wrong address and waited in the cold for 3 hours just to receive it. Anyway I am glad to be going home and I wish everyone much prayer, support and belief through this process. Hope you have an update soon @M S Khan stay positive! Almost there

@Resilient111 Awwww congratulations 🎈🎉 to you. I know this feeling. As for that DX company, I even emailed the embassy to consider another company because they did similar to my husband. And their online reviews are so bad. I even made a post about it here.

Congratulations- have a safe travel.  Even though they asked us to redo the medical and submit the passport which is an indication of last stage of issuing a visa, there is  still that anxiety. Hahaha. Oh well. We waited 3.5 years so another couple weeks shouldn’t be that bad. 😂

Please fill in the timeline on your VJ profile instead. A post will just get lost, your timeline will help many, many others going forward.

Good luck and congrats!

@Moda25 @appleblossom Is it common to take that long after medical? We haven’t yet heard anything from the embassy. We did medical on the 8th and so far no news from the embassy…

@M S Khan This is strange. Did your wife receive anything from the medical clinic? My husband was sent his vaccination records after a week of redoing the medicals. That was how we knew the embassy had received it. I can’t think of any reason why they haven’t issued her visa yet. Has there been any updates in CAEC since they received her passport?

Just received a document from the medical that they have competed the medical and submitted the records on the 12th. On CEAC I see an update yesterday but it may be because I sent them an email yesterday to follow up. That’s all.
